A man who knew he was quarter to his death yet chose to plant a tree on who's shade he knew he would never sit under. That is selflessness. His death is a lesson to us that we should continue with the struggle, that despotism, tyranny and dictatorship have no place in Zimbabwe.

Comrade Blessed Runesu Geza aka Comrade Bombshell, the fearless war veteran who single-handedly challenged the ED2030, and fiercely defended our constitution, gave me hope, he revived my faith for a better Zimbabwe 🇿🇼, he brightened the dullness in my activism path after the 2023 elections, he gave me energy, I looked forward for the future with great courage and determination. I understood that he was old and he always emphasised that he was at his twilight years ,and he was fighting for the younger generations, but l never expected this kind of departure… I wish he stayed longer, l wish he was still here with us 😭 Long Live the fighting spirit of Comrade Bombshell!💪🏾💪🏾 Rest easy son of the soil, you came from the people, fought for the people and you are mourned by the people… gallant son of Zimbabwe 🇿🇼 #RIPGeza
