when moving to a new city should you
A: book the place before you move there so you have some stability and comfort when you get settled in (cheaper)
B: stay in an Airbnb/hostel for a ~ month while you figure out where you want to stay, can visit (more expensive)

simple guide with tips:
- change dates ! a lot. look for a lot of ranges to find the best price
- change starting destination/end destination. eg. if you want to go to paris, consider also trying amsterdam, brussels, london, etc.
- (continued below)
feel free to let me know more tips too !!
also the credit card stuff but tbh that’s a different and kinda complicated can of worms i’m still learning too hahaha
- sometimes, there’s a discrepancy between the price on google flights and the native website because of IP/search purposes. especially for major trips, check the difference between these two
- you can consider a third party booking partner, but only if you’re willing to risk it. only do this for short, direct trips where the value is good <over 20% ish cheaper, and especially when you don’t need to be in the place. also don’t check bags on a flight like this ever lol
