I wonder if many like me find the usual AI voices irritating to listen to. Human ears are finely tuned to thousands of tiny micro-expressions. They sound emotionally hollow, fake, manipulative, aggressively cheerful, insincere. 1/

Rather than trying to make it sound like a real human, a better approach might be to make it sound a bit cartoonish and upfront about what it is, like  "I'm a cartoon dog, emotionally simple and here to please you as much as I can."  A funny sounding cartoon hound, etc.  2/

@AnthonyFarnell Interestingly, AQI is still bad this morning but sky looks clear. Probably mostly because particle sizes are smaller? Also interesting AQI was about 2x worse on thurs compared to wed even though smell was much worse on wed. Apparently it’s only gases that smell which had degraded

1) Based on rocket physics alone cost is about 5x more in fuel for Moon v. LEO.
2) Conservative LEO cost is $1k/kg. Might come down to $100/kg but there is added cost to deploy modules.
3) Bandwidth bottleneck transmitting data to/from.

@JustinWolfers @svaneksmith Saw you @TheWeekendMSNOW this morn. Interesting point about US wealth distribution. ChatGPT made this table (& gave sources for rows). In rough terms can think of top 10% of each successive group having ~50% of wealth of that group.

@drsanjaygupta As you said, you have to be sick to pass it on. What’s concerning is that sometimes people are sick but still feel well enough to attend a birthday party. In the current situation though, people are aware of possible exposure so that’s probably unlikely to happen.
