Internalized racism generally refers to absorbing racial hierarchies in ways that devalue YOURSELF or your OWN racialized group. If you’re trying to accuse a MexAm woman of prejudice against Asians, the accusation would be anti-Asian racism & you’d still need actual evidence of it. I called one fictional character who happens to be Asian chopped bc of how I viewed his treatment of the mc. My comment about Jo was about character traits I gravitate toward, not white features. You supplied race to both statements yourself, then kept reaching for more serious terminology when the first accusation didn’t work. & tossing in some random comment about me being ugly really completed the picture lol. You had no point, so you just kept stacking insults until something sounded damning.

& this is exactly how I ended up interacting with Disoreckless in the first place. I wasn’t defending Jo, arguing about some theory or trying to convert anyone to my interpretation. I defended real people after they were accused of endorsing rape & sex trafficking, said how ignorant it is to call real survivors liars about their own trauma over a petty bl argument Disoreckless had concocted in their head & questioned why they accused Doyak of being a rape apologist. They still support her work, by the way, condemn everyone who thinks differently & conveniently exempt themselves from every standard they use to judge everyone else. My separate thread about how I understood the story came afterward, explicitly said I wasn’t trying to convince anyone & somehow that made them crash out too. Now you’re joining them by inventing white worship & internalized racism bc you also can’t tolerate somebody having the *wrong* thoughts about fiction. I was defending real people. You two keep dragging racism, rape, trafficking & survivors into petty fandom shit bc apparently disliking a fictional man is enough to justify saying anything. That’s the part that should embarrass you.

~ Mind you, I also defended TJ stans & said they shouldn't be condemned for endorsing murder but the person you're aligning with ignored that to continue having some lame excuse to crash out for not being able to accept that some ppl just don't like a character.
