@PeterStefanovi2 It's a tragedy, frankly. Brexit has caused huge financial damage and made life very difficult for British firms to export. Cameron's Remsin campaign was weak, failing to stress this enough. AND to counter the still held belief that 'unelected' Brussels made the decisions. V sad.
@CariadFfisio I am so sorry. I know only too well the pain of losing a beloved furry feline. They are family and a huge part of our lives. I am sure you are in pieces right now. I hope before too long you can draw comfort from thinking what amazing lives you gave lovely Emma and her brother.
@SamCKx@SadiqKhan I totally agree. On all counts. He has been a force for good for London. Statistics show that London is now one of the safest cities in the world, especially compared to many in the US and London consistently tops worldwide polls as the best city to visit.
@ianrich15813274 Yes. The article on the BBC News website today is really good news. The scientists undertaking the studies/trials on the children were actually astonished - they had not expected such a positive outcome!
@NiallHarbison Oh my goodness, that's amazing 24 hours after her operation, incredible. Lovely little Pepper, she couldn't be on a better place right now. Thank you to all at Happy Doggo
@ZiaYusufUK Shouldn't it depend on what tax and NI contributions foreign nationals have made? EU citizens with 'settled status' have generally been working here & contributing since long before Brexit. Many went home then, of course, but those who stayed have generally continued to work.
@Nigel_Farage The overwhelming majority of EU citizens who have 'Settled Status', will have been working & paying tax, NI in the UK for many years. Long before Brexit. As they've been contributing - is this proposal fair??
@John_Dabell Wise words, John, thank you. You're absolutely right! Looks as though you are/were in a lovely place. I hope you were able to enjoy your outing.
@ianrich15813274 I totally agree. Obviously all government spending needs to be kept under review, but the huge financial losses from Brexit both to our GDP overall and to individual companies are devastating and could have been avoided. The Remain campaign sadly was weak.
@ZiaYusufUK Please stop this ridiculous gaslighting. The responsibility for our current water shortage lies solely with the water companies who pay shareholders instead of investing in the infrastructure and the Tories who privatised them.
@Top_Muppetries@ChunkyChipper@RobertJenrick It's actually painful to see this turnaround set out like this. He has no principles or moral compass. Obviously he must know how dangerous and harmful Reform's energy policies would be, yet has signed up to them regardless. Pathetic.
@RobertJenrick@Nigel_Farage I didn't vote Labour, but the current government have clearly begun the work to fix the country. The country broken by the previous Tory government that YOU were part of. Do you remember boasting about signing more hotels for asylum seekers when you were Immigration Minister??
@EssexPR Actually, it's Farage who has shown contempt for our political system & the people of Clacton. This by election was totally unnecessary and he framed it as Clacton v the etablishment to deflect from the entirely proper Parliamentary investigation. Shameful, frankly.
