I don’t accept this ending. Mikasa had the right to move on and be happy but did she really have to be with Jean, who she ignored throughout the series? Do they expect us to believe she’d suddenly have feelings for him after Eren’s death?

Regarding the end credits, the audio guide describes several scenes:
Mikasa and Jean visiting a grave with their children; the elderly couple returning years later with their children and grandchildren;and finally, a nuclear missile striking the city.
