@BananaJuju_@Asmongold It's a day that ends in y so people on twitter are calling something racism and threatening violence against people's lives over problems in their head.
I don't think we're getting to 2050, guys.
@Pirat_Nation The way it was tied to a Microsoft account and doxed streamers when they were starting up the game was a really stupid design decision.
Also that the Steam version required other UWP crap installed and updated or it didn't let you play. Should've been blocked from sale for that.
@Grummz Koreans seem to be the masters of misrepresentation of video games. So many games have crazy trailers that aren't related to the game at all, even in opening cinematics.
Also crazy to think DFO released here in 2010. Really miss those days.
@Pirat_Nation So for the tiny % of people who don't use mobile phones, they're completely screwed?
May as well make having a mobile phone a requirement on a government level, like an ID or license...
@Pirat_Nation DS4Windows reboot stopped because of the same reason.
The more time passes, the worse programming gets. People used to create languages, now they barely understand the 20th revision of them and ruin everything they touch.
AI is just the next step...
@RinoTheBouncer I was gonna comment, but then got stunlocked by the amount of people mentioning modern games.
To think millennials are 2 generations old now...
@rubyruneheart NIKKE: Prepare to Cry Edition
The original Christmas event (Miracle Snow) got me the worst. They even brought it back with voice acting! ...couldn't bring myself to replay it.
@AshEchoes Only way to avoid this is to stop playing mobile/gacha games.
Chance of shutdown goes down by 99%.
Unfortunately, these games are releasing on PC as more premium titles (Hoyo-esque), though those tend to have much better chances of staying alive.
@Stardive_EN is next, imo.
@zdr_0x@Pirat_Nation Worst case it's not too impactful as they only seem to have voiced background NPC's.
Nothing like the disaster of Hoyo's games in the last few years with sweeping main cast replacements.
@Pirat_Nation I've noticed it in all the advert videos in town and it's kinda offputting, but it doesn't detract that much from the gameplay.
Game's got way bigger problems to worry about; like the controls and lack of rebinding options. Y'know, major gameplay impacts.
Yes, it is in fact permanent.
@Youtube no longer seems to have watch history retention beyond 4 years.
There's also no notification history older than 3 weeks visible.
The platform continues to get worse, forever. @YouTubeCreators
Another week, another negative change to @YouTube
Watch history is no longer showing yet again on videos 5+ years old.
This applies to the recommendation system too, it's recommending old videos you've already watched.
They keep breaking this; will it be permanent this time?
@ncannasse When is Heaps going to get better multicore support?
All Shiro's recent games have been hamstrung by being limited to 2 CPU cores, and SpaceCraft is looking to be the worst of the bunch.
The engine is not fit for purpose anymore.
@arkbigfanjp Why won't Genshin just die already?
Can only assume it's because the players haven't tried any other game. Once you do, you see how horribly archaic it is in comparison.
Also sunk cost fallacy.
@Pirat_Nation Gonna have to say it's expected after what they did last year... which was after getting so much popularity with Unity's debacle too.
Was going to choose Godot as my engine this time.. but clearly have to look elsewhere. Gotta learn about all the forks that popped up afterward.
It's a day that ends in Y so getting screwed over by @amazon's S&S system is par for the course.
When is this going to change to processing the order WHEN WE MAKE THE ORDER? @AmazonHelp
