🚨 Pep Guardiola on the Rodri vs Sergio Busquets debate:

People always want to compare them, but for me, that is unfair to both players. Busquets was unique. Rodri is unique. They play the same position, but they have different qualities and different personalities.

Busquets understood space like very few players in history. He could control a game without running 20 kilometres. Rodri has that intelligence too, but he also has physicality, leadership, the ability to arrive in the box, score important goals, and dominate games in a different way.

If you ask me who is better, I cannot give you an answer. I was lucky to coach Busquets, and I was lucky to coach Rodri. Both are exceptional players.

But Rodri has already created his own story. He doesn’t need to be the next Busquets. He is Rodri — and that is more than enough.🏆🩵🇪🇸
