@ESPNFC@LuyiDee Honestly I’m not looking forward to next season in the UCL of Flick doesn’t buy fast CBs or change his highline tactics. I believe this problem will continue or may even get worse when we start struggling to score goals. And keep on conceding
Rashford numbers are quite impressive but his overall play is not the best.
He struggles to press! He hardly beats his man 1v1. He often doesn’t have that hunger to keep pressure when attacking.
He is terrible at 1v1 with goalkeeper.
Yeah is good for the bench.
🚨🎙 | OPINION ON MARCUS RASHFORD:
Marcus Rashford is not the type of player Barcelona can rely on long-term. He has good pace, but in my opinion, he lacks the technical quality required to be a consistent FC Barcelona player.
He has delivered some impressive numbers as a loan player, especially considering how his career had declined before joining us. However, when it comes to the technical level needed for next season and beyond, he simply doesn’t fit. Since Roony came into the team, the attacking dynamics have clearly improved, and he has shown much more in attack than Rashford.
Final Verdict:
Roony should be given more time and opportunities to develop he’s still young and has huge potential. As for Marcus Rashford, he should return to Manchester United at the end of the season. They can sell him for whatever price they want. FC Barcelona has already given him the platform and PR boost he needed.

And to even think that the team has a lot of square pegs filling round holes. Kounde a CB playing as RB. Eric a Midfielder playing as CB. Martin a LB playing as LCB. Pedri and FDJ are CMs playing as DM. Raphinha a LW playing as a RW 😂😂. A very unique team
It is clear that we don’t have the right defenders for the system we play. highline is a very risky play! You need very alert and fast defenders. Highline puts your CBs under pressure because of the huge space left behind them once the line is beaten. They often need to recover.
🚨🎙️ THIERRY HENRY ON THE GAME:
"Listen, we can talk about the referee all night, but we have to look at the mirror. Playing a high line in these massive European games with this specific profile of defense... it is a recipe for disaster. If nothing changes, we will be sitting here watching these same results for the next 10 years.
You cannot expect to survive at this level without world-class stability. I’m sorry, but this squad desperately needs elite Center Backs next season.
If you don’t have the legs or the awareness to cover that space, you are just inviting the nightmare. It’s not just a bad night; it’s a structural problem that needs to be fixed now."
And in a bid to recover, the CBs draw fouls which end up as a last man foul and hence our numerous red cards.
There’s a reason we have conceded the same type of goals all season! “Diagonal run from deep and a square play to the middle “ is is because of Highline.
