Most "community launches" are just bot farms. The fastest script wins, not the most committed user.

The @MMTFinance ($MMT) offering on @buidlpad is an interesting counter-example. The implementation is worth a look.

Buidlpad provides the crucial infrastructure: wallet binding, KYC, and clear contribution limits. This is the technical plumbing that prevents Sybil attacks.

The rule becomes one human, one spot.

The two-tier system is the most interesting part from a mechanism design perspective:

This isn't just a discount. It's a filtering mechanism that rewards participation. It gives an edge to those who have already provided liquidity, aligning incentives.

It’s not about who can ape in the fastest, it's about who has been part of the system.

From a contract perspective, this is refreshingly clean. No complex vesting schedules, no cliffs, no potential bugs in a multi-year distribution contract.

There’s an elegance in that simplicity. It signals confidence.

This isn't a system optimized for maximum FOMO. Instead, @MMTFinance and @buidlpad have engineered a system for community curation.

A solid reminder that thoughtful mechanism design can solve real problems. It’s about building systems with integrity.
