So I was reading about King Solomon in the Bible, and honestly… this story messed with my head a little. In 1 Kings 3:12, God literally told Solomon that He would give him wisdom like no one before him and no one after him. Like… imagine being the wisest person to ever live. Ever. That made me wonder, Why did God make Solomon so special? Why give him wisdom greater than anyone else in history? Then I kept reading, and I found his downfall in 1 Kings 11.
I was confused. Where did that wisdom go?
How could the wisest man in the world end up worshiping idols? How could someone so wise make such foolish decisions? So I kept searching, reading, thinking…... and then I found this line that hit me hard: "If this was the case with the wisest man who ever lived, then what hope do we have apart from constant dependence on Jesus Christ? Let the example of Solomon drive us to greater dependence on Him." And that’s when it clicked. No matter how smart you are. No matter how blessed you are.
No matter how high God lifts you. If you stop fearing God….. If you stop depending on Him..... You can fall. Badly. Even Solomon fell.
And it honestly felt like God was talking straight to me:
“Oh you want to be wise?
Look at the wisest man in the world.
See what happened when he stopped walking with Me.”
God’s works are truly beyond our understanding.

More than 170 people were murdered by jihadi terrorists yesterday in Woro, Kwara State.

The jihadist militia had invaded the community and demanded that “all the villagers must embrace Sharia law”, according to survivors who told Reuters.

When they refused to embrace sharia law, the barbaric terrorists murdered them one after the other. “Residents were rounded up, with their hands bound behind their backs before being shot and executed”, a local lawmaker Saidu Baba Ahmed claimed.

Nestlé has recalled these baby products.

So before you mix that next bottle for your baby, read this thread carefully as it concerns their well being.

If you feed your baby NAN, SMA, or Alfamino, a toxic bacteria has been found in some batches. And you might have it in your house right now.

You see, Nestlé has issued a massive global recall for several baby formulas (products in the image above) because they found a toxin called Cereulide (from Bacillus cereus bacteria) in some batches.

This toxin causes severe nausea and vomiting in babies. And the scary part is that boiling water does NOT kill it. The toxin is heat-resistant. So even if you prepare the formula correctly, if the powder itself is contaminated, your baby is at risk.

Now, NAFDAC has not released a specific alert for Nigeria yet. BUT our markets are porous. And people import ‘UK SMA’ and ‘Imported NAN’ every single day. So if you buy your formula from supermarkets that stock imported goods, or you bought it abroad, you need to check the last stock to see if your tin look like any of those products.

If yes, go to Nestle’s UK Website (SMA & Alfamino) and Nestle’s MENA Website (NAN) to verify if your batch does not fall under the recalled ones.

If your batch code matches the ones on that list, please DO NOT USE IT.

And please, don't keep this information to yourself.

Many of the people complaining that the Hallelujah Challenge now goes beyond one hour aren’t upset from a time management standpoint, but a priority standpoint.

They're the same people who dislike a church because the sermon is longer than an hour, but will gladly give hours to Netflix and parties without blinking. Let's binge an 8-episode 42mins/episode series on Amazon Prime at 11pm, but when prayer stretches past an hour, it becomes “too long.”

The issue isn’t Pastor Nathaniel Bassey’s time management, it’s their appetite. They didn’t join the Hallelujah Challenge because they love God, they came because they love His gifts. They aren't seeking His presence, they’re seeking His presents. They love the bread He gives, not the Bread He is.

When you truly love someone, time in their presence never feels wasted, and it's never even enough. But when you only really love what they can do for you, every extra minute feels like a burden. It's like standing close to the microwave — as soon as the timer goes off, you take your food and go.

That’s why people can demand (even disrespectfully) that a man of God holding midnight prayers for strangers all around the world “stick to one hour.” It's because they came to collect, not to commune.

Now cue the devil's voice, "this man is judging and condemning you"... Listen, shush that voice. The devil just really wants to turn you away from biblical guidance that will help you.

This isn’t condemnation, it’s correction. Let it stir your heart back to FIRST LOVE. You used to spend time with God in prayer, bible study, and singing, but now things have gone cold. Let's fix that.
Whether on Hallelujah Challenge, Triumph30 devotion, NSPPD, or your own personal prayer time, don’t come to God with a stopwatch, come with a heart that stays.
The more you love Him, the less you’ll count the minutes.
