I agree that religion nowadays is a scam, & that it is true that most once very serious Christians are jolted into the reality of the scam when they need assistance or help from d church they once gave all their life & resources for.
But true biblical Christianity is not a scam.

I was sent out of Canada

Yes that’s why I came back home a few months ago

Yep, you read that right.

So I came into Canada with a spousal open work permit. And when it was about to expire, we applied for an extension.

And we were just about our business waiting for the extension to come out only for us to get a rejection mail. This came at a crucial time as there was a change of government and rapid immigration policy changes.

Omo, everywhere first blur. Premium tears everywhere

We did not see it coming at all. And I had a few days to leave the country ASAP.

My husband wanted to start running around seeing how to appeal the rejection without me leaving but I just told him “babe let’s leave it. I’ll go.”

I was not sure what God was doing but I trusted Him. And so I came back to Nigeria.

I went about my Fathers business like nothing dey sup. Trusting the one who has called me.

Then the dots began to connect.

Then came Covabodi festival. You know how that went to the glory of God

Then came brand ambassadorial roles.

If I tell you the other things God helped me achieve in this trip ehn,you’ll open your mouth in wonder.

Like, I began to understand that Canada did not send me away. God brought me back to carry out specific assignments.

One morning we woke up and I got a email.

“Congratulations Deborah, you’re now a permanent resident of Canada”

Yup. You’re looking at the latest Canadian permanent resident.

When I flew into Canada last week, I bounced in there like a madam.

I’m sharing this testimony to let you know that you need to trust God completely with your life.

You see that scripture that says all things work together for good? I need you to believe it with everything inside of you

Your wedding plans scattered? It’s working for your good

They served you breakfast? It’s working for your good

You did not get that opportunity? It’s working for your good.

Be pro-active, play your part, send in the application, do all that you should do and leave the rest to God

You may not see what God is doing in the moment, but as long as you’re faithfully serving and following God, just trust Him.

The dots will connect

And you will look and say “oh, Father so this is what you had in mind.”

Celebrate with me jare. God don run am🥳🥳

@DanielRegha In my opinion, Lookman caused his outburst. Oshimen was in a very clear position to score but Lookman like Mo salah always does sometimes decided to be selfish by trying to score himself. Football is a team game for crying out loud. I pray he doesn't do it when we need a goal.

@brytendy @d_ocheido Most times the laws are not sinful. They are just CHURCH PROTOCOLS to create order in the church. The reason it doesn't sit well with SINCERE BELIEVERS is that it makes us look STUPID during evangelism when trying 2 defend. Imagine, how can I defend dat perfume is 4 dead ppl.

@brytendy @d_ocheido If u read the Bible well & experience God face 2 face like @d_ocheido highlighted, you'll get to a point in your journey where the holy Spirit hints u whn a doctrine is going 2far. It's bad you don't believe in any doctrine. 4 me I stayed bcos 98% of what they preach is okay.

This Marriage injunction is not a Muslim problem. It's a command in Christendom too.
In either religion it's never a good choice. If marrying from different denominations can cause problems. Marrying from different religions will be worse.

@OgbeniDipo @JohnEtebom As a DLer from the early 90's, what wfk said about the corrupting influence of the TV is true even till date.
4 me since the 90s, being d only born again Xtian in my family, I had to find a way around it cos my parents had it.
I try as much as possible to view good programs.
