I own a farm in Nigeria, and I can confidently say that our problem isn’t a lack of seeds to plant.
It’s the lack of machines, storage facilities, good roads, and, ultimately, security.
The roads are so poor that it’s very expensive for small-scale farmers to transport their harvests to market.
That’s what we need to address, not introducing new types of seeds.
New seeds won’t solve our food crisis; if anything, they would worsen it.
Because, small scale farmers won't be able to farm when they can't buy a particular seed. That's a big problem.
Do you know over 300,000 farmers died by suicide in India in the 2000s?
They were promised GMO seeds would end their poverty. But the seeds came with a trap. You had to keep buying them every year, along with fertiliser and pesticides. When the crops failed and debt piled up, many drank the same chemicals they were told would save their farms.
Now they are pushing the same seeds that most of Europe refuses to grow, and they are pushing them in Africa. Our leaders will sign the deals. But it’s the farmers who’ll carry the coffin. If countries like France and Germany rejected it, why is it being dumped in Africa?
Think.
@DavidOFakayode We have the names already, we're just waiting for that Someone that will do the renaming.

This is Maresca’s first season at Chelsea. He has won both the Conference league and the biggest trophy in club football. He also qualified them for the UCL. All that in his first season. No excuse will save Arteta next season. Thank God the club is backing him. NO MORE EXCUSES
🚨❤️🤍 Alongside Gyökeres deal close, Arsenal are also planning to advance on Christian Mosquera deal with Valencia next week as player only wants #AFC project…
…and get new deal done for Ethan Nwaneri in the next days after progress revealed yesterday.
He spent a combined 10 years as the Number 1 of Nigeria but just like every other African leader, he died in a foreign hospital.
Absolute shameless posture from our leaders.
If western leaders neglected their healthcare facilities/system, where would African leaders run to?
You're an influencer now Rio. You've said things about players as well. But now you're the voice of morality and reason. Madueke should be not be vilified but if Arsenals fans don't want a Chelsea player so what? Do you not remember Sol Campbell to Arsenal or Ashley Cole to Chelsea. People need to stop telling people how to think. 2025 and this oppression of opinion is a joke
Why are Arsenal making Gyokeres ruin his relationship with Sporting CP. If indeed it's that 4M shortfall that is the reason for the delay then it's embarrassing.
@Omo_6 We do not learn anything from Luis Suarez saga at all. If Arsenal fail to sign him, the guy well continue playing for Sporting CP & sign for a bigger club next season.
🚨🗣️ Sporting president Frederico Varandas issues a strong statement to Agencia Lusa after Gyökeres did not report back to training, as expected.
"We're calm. Everything can be solved with the closure of the market, a heavy fine and an apology to the group.
“If they [Arsenal] don't want to pay Viktor’s fair market value, we'll be very comfortable with that for the next three years.
“If the geniuses who are devising this strategy think that this puts pressure on me to make it easier for him to leave, not only are they completely wrong, but they are also making it more complicated for the player to leave.
“No one is above the interests of the club. Whoever they are."
Just shut your mouth, MAJORITY of Arsenal fan that want progress for this club do not want Madueke because he can't improve our squad. You can take him to Man U. Idiot want me to celebrate mediocrity 🤣🤣🤣
Noni Madueke
For a Young 23 year old English footballer to be vilified, bullied, embarrassed and totally strip down at a time when you’re meant to be celebrating a transfer worth £55 million. Yes a young kid with a dream about to secure a £55 million dream move to a club of his desire leaving a rival at that to be treated in this manner via section of the Arsenal fan base is an utter disgrace. Just put yourself in his shoes for one minute just put yourself in his parents shoes for one minute and just think of how that feeling must be. I’ll say it again, at a time as a player as a human as a family you should be celebrating. I just hope the people that are closest to him are around him and supporting him in the way that he needs right now.
It’s fine for fans to disagree with signings or decisions made at their football club but the way some fans have publicly voiced their opinions and those who have gone a step further in publicly joining a petition for this player not to be signed by their football club is beyond me. I have never seen anything like this before, and I hope I don’t ever again. Like I said earlier just imagine this was your best friend, one of your family members, your brother, son…then tell me how would you feel if they were on the receiving end of this vulgar behaviour ???
By the way, This isn’t aimed at all Arsenal fans it’s just a small section who have become very loud unfortunately.
I just hope the transfer goes through and Noni Madueke
rams all of this negativity back down the throats of these impostors.
Whatever happens from here good luck Noni.
