As a first time attendee,

Don’t start with much energy during prayers (Friday morning) because you don’t want to get tired on time. And when you notice that your energy is getting low, just grab anyone’s hand and see how you’d get charged.

Be ready to dispense and receive.

Not everyone at that camp meeting is human (iykyk).

Avoid distractions whether onsite or online. This is not the time to do meet and greet. Meet and greet can happen on Sunday after service. Don’t start turning eba because you’re streaming o.

It’s okay to slay and pray but try keep that bone straight at home😭(protocol will help you hold it sha).

Your expectations ???? Set them highhhhh because the Most High God is ready to meet and exceed them.

You might not get to seat in the main hall and trust me, that’s okay. No matter where you’re seated, God is right there. The set man of the house is not who we’re coming to have an encounter with but God.

Dress comfortably and decently.

I don’t need to “taste” Islam to know it isn’t the truth because there are historical evidences, theological coherence, and the revelation God has already given.

Islam reduces God to distance, transcendence, and unattainability.
Christianity reveals God as Emmanuel… God WITH us.

Islam asks me to trust a message that came 600 years later, through one man, in a cave, with no witnesses, and which directly contradicts events that historians across all backgrounds affirm, especially the crucifixion.

Christianity gives me a God who enters history as Jesus, a resurrection attested by eyewitnesses, Salvation that is grounded in grace and certainty and a God who is personal, knowable, and self-revealing.

A reckless love
One that is intimate
One that doesn’t demand that I do before I receive.
One that doesn’t force for you to belong. He yearns and callls to himself without giving up.

A God who didn’t want heaven without me, so he brought heaven down.

Muhammad died.
Buddha died.
Every religious leader died and stayed dead.

Only Jesus walks out of His grave by His own power. And His resurrection had over 500 witnesses at one time,
many of whom died refusing to deny what they saw.

I can go on and on.

I’ve tasted and I’ve seen.
There’s only one true God, he is JESUS.
