The net spread soybeans CIFFO China U.S. vs. Brazil origins for February shipment favors Brazil by $17/ton & 47-cts/bushel. The spread only gets wider after that.
JUST IN: @BASF filed a petition with the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit requesting a rehearing of its June 3 decision on dicamba. “The court's decision vacated the EPA registration of the dicamba-based Engenia herbicide w/out giving BASF an opportunity to be heard.”

After waiting patiently on #Soybeans, i finally entered some calls. Bought 8 - 850 SN calls @ 19.625. Hard to get excited about upside in the whole grain complex right now, but i’m taking the risk here for some upside by June 26. Targeting $9-$9.20 area as of now.
China's soybean imports from the US in the first two months of the year rose sixfold from the same period ly. China bought 6.101 million tonnes of US soybeans up from 1.044 million tonnes in 2019. Obviously ly was impacted by the trade war.
