Very inspiring words from Elon Musk today:
"I always think about this. There are always problems on earth. There’s always things that we wish to be better, that we want to solve on Earth, and we should solve them. But there there also has to be things that get you excited about the future — that make you glad to wake up in the morning, because you can’t wait to see what happens next.
That’s the future @SpaceX wants to bring to you."
Let’s goooooo🚀
I ask each of my followers only one thing.
Do something nice for someone today.
Be the person that others point to and say "I wish I was like him".
Thank you.

#OTD 1902 - The St. Louis Browns of the American League played their first game and beat Cleveland, 5-2.

#OTD 1764 - St Louis was founded by Pierre Laclede and his stepson, Auguste Chouteau.
Laclede was sponsored by a New Orleans merchant to construct a new trading post near the confluence of the Missouri and Mississippi rivers.
Upon arrival, it was discovered that the land at the confluence was too marshy, so they settled on land 18 miles downriver - on land now called St Louis, Missouri.

Peter Berra (left) the father of Yankees catcher Yogi Berra & Giovanni Garagiola, the father of Cardinals catcher Joe Garagiola, outside during a lunch break at the Laclede-Christy Clay Products Company in 1947.
They worked not far from "The Hill" neighborhood of St Louis where they lived across the street from each other.
"The Hill" was about one square mile, with around 2,500 residents, 75 percent of them Italo-American.
Together, Pete and Giovanni had the arduous job of digging the clay that was used to make bricks. These bricks helped build the city, and surrounding areas.
They would also lay the bricks. Pietro and Giovanni laid the ones that formed the walls of the St. Louis Arena and neither one of them made more than $740 a year.

As we celebrate the life of Bob Gibson today, we can't forget this amazing quote from Dusty Baker when he asked Hank Aaron about Gibby.
“(Hank Aaron told me) ‘Don’t dig in against Bob Gibson, he’ll knock you down. He’d knock down his own grandmother if she dared to challenge him. Don’t stare at him, don’t smile at him, don’t talk to him. He doesn’t like it. If you happen to hit a home run, don’t run too slow, don’t run too fast. If you happen to want to celebrate, get in the tunnel first. And if he hits you, don’t charge the mound, because he’s a Gold Glove boxer.’ I’m like, ‘Damn, what about my 17-game hitting streak?’ That was the night it ended.” — Dusty Baker
