In this module, I learned that gateways connect different networks and allow devices to communicate beyond their local network. I also learned that routers can act as gateways, while the default gateway forwards data to other networks, such as the Internet.

I learned how DHCP automatically assigns IP addresses and other network settings to devices. I also learned the difference between static and dynamic addressing and how DHCP makes network configuration easier.
