I just found out my boyfriend of a year and a half bought a house.

Not because he told me.

Not because I accidentally saw paperwork.

Not because someone close to him slipped up.

I found out through Instagram.

The house is beautiful.

The closing photos were cute.

Then I noticed the woman standing next to him.

His wife.

Apparently they bought the house together back in June.

So while I thought I was in a committed relationship, this man was apparently maintaining an entire marriage and purchasing property with his wife.

I don't even know what emotion to process first.

The betrayal?

The audacity?

The fact that he somehow managed to hide an entire home purchase from me?

Or the fact that Instagram broke the news before he did?

I haven't even decided what to say to him yet.

But I do know one thing.
