Republicans are passing a temporary rule change that will force us to vote on legislation the same day it’s introduced.
This shell game allows the Senate to jam the House with a spending bill that’s not even settled.
I support border security, but not this bastardized process.
yall, please vote for tom steyer today if you havent already. its not even just ideological, becerra is not fit to lead anything, let alone the worlds 4th largest economy.
UPDATE: Dulce Diaz was in fact a U.S. citizen and the Trump admin has now acknowledged the fact and issued her a passport. Below was DHS’s angry (and utterly false) claim to the contrary.
Proof that, yes, ICE has at times detained US citizens in error.
The time has come to vote for the California you want.
A California with homes you can afford.
A California with lower electric bills.
A California with free childcare.
A California where polluters pay.
A California where we tax corporations and billionaires
The question is: do you want a California that works for corporations, or for Californians?
The California we want is possible. We just have to vote for it.
Polls close at 8pm.
MSNow: You're willing at this point to let the Senate fall into the hands of Democrats, if that's what it takes to end data centers?
Republican Voter: My entire community is going to break rank. Everybody, all of us. We've had enough.
Don't fall for the "Republican lockout" myth.
For Democrats, the choice is simple: Becerra for more of the same, or me to take on the corporate interests driving up your costs.
Why else would corporations like PG&E, Meta, and Chevron spend $50M against me and back him?
New poll, same story: It's a tight three-way race, and there's no risk Democrats are locked out in November.
The choice is clear: Do you want a MAGA extremist, a corporate Democrat, or a progressive who'll fight every day to take on special interests and bring down prices?
A California that works for working people is possible. Vote for it by June 2.
California, it's time to cast your ballot for the candidate who aligns with your values.
With less than a week until the June primary, I wanted to dispel a myth I've been hearing on the campaign trail. Californians have been rightfully concerned that two Republicans could advance to the November election.
But here's the truth: based on the latest polling data, that outcome is nearly impossible.
This race is down to a MAGA extremist, a career politician backed by Chevron and Meta, and our campaign. From day one, we've been laser-focused on taking on the corporations that are ripping off Californians. That's why nurses, teachers, environmental groups, and progressive organizations have backed our campaign.
At the same time, corporations, including Chevron, PG&E, Uber, Meta, McDonald's, and Airbnb are spending millions to defeat us. Why? Because they know I will put Californians ahead of their profits.
I'll take on the health insurance companies to deliver single-payer healthcare.
I'll break up the monopoly power of the utilities to lower your electricity costs by 25%.
I'll tax corporations and billionaires to invest in local services.
I'll take on corporate developers to build a million homes Californians can afford.
And I'll defend the rights of every Californian.
If you like how things are going in California and how much everything costs, I'm not your guy. But if you think we need real change, I would be honored to have your vote.
