You really are an ignorant if you think posting this video proves the point you think it does. 😂 You can disagree with “Pakistan Murdabad” all you fucking want, but what reaction exactly do you expect when people become convinced that their land, identity or political rights are under threat?

Read some history before calling everyone else jahil. When Bombay’s separation from Maharashtra was being contemplated, the Samyukta Maharashtra Movement erupted. Marathis fought politically to keep Bombay with Maharashtra, 106 people died during that struggle, and Mumbai ultimately remained Maharashtra’s capital. Catalonia’s independence movement surged after its autonomy was curtailed. And perhaps open a Pakistani history book sometime and ask yourself how demands for autonomy in East Pakistan eventually became demands for independence when Bengalis believed the federation was refusing to respect their democratic mandate.

None of that means every separatist slogan is right. It means anyone with even a basic understanding of history knows that when people believe the state is threatening their homeland or refusing to hear them, nationalism gets more radical, not less. Your genius solution is apparently to advocate carving Karachi away from Sindh and then act shocked when Sindhi nationalists respond with separatist slogans. 😂 And you have the audacity to call other jahil?

So keep this “educated us, jahil Sindhis” superiority bullshit to yourself. The only person demonstrating his ignorance here is the motherfucker who thinks one protest video is an anthropology textbook.

And this is exactly what I find hilarious about people like you. PPP’s corruption and incompetence becomes an indictment of Sindhis and even an excuse to redraw Sindh. But when MQM’s record comes up, suddenly hypocrites like you develop amnesia.

Have you seen the old Nusrat Javed clip circulating again? A senior journalist described a situation where his journalism was effectively weighed against the safety of around 600 employees because of pressure he attributed to MQM. THAT was the political environment Karachi experienced when MQM had serious power. But apparently none of that disqualifies MQM politics in your mind. Only PPP’s failures are important enough to justify fucking around with Sindh’s map.

I am not going to pretend MQM were some fucking Scandinavian democrats who governed Karachi with roses and transparency. 😂

And stop selling me this “administrative units” bullshit. Demands to separate Karachi from Sindh did not suddenly appear after 18 years of PPP governance. Sindhis have been hearing versions of this demand for decades. You have simply found a more respectable euphemism for it now.

And stop your lectures about namak harami, dallay. You were born in Sindh, live in Sindh, benefit from Sindh, and yet you call yourself a Mohajir (migrant). Since when did the word Mohajir become an ethnicity?

There are countless Urdu speaking Sindhis and Pakistanis who have no difficulty respecting Sindh, its people and its territorial integrity. So do not hide your own prejudice behind an entire community. This is your mentality, and your replies have made it embarrassingly obvious.

I can give you history, facts and arguments all day, but you are not here to understand any of them. You came here with “you had 18 years” because the moment you saw a Sindhi defending Sindh, your little brain immediately screamed PPP. That tells me exactly what I am dealing with.

So shove the “wapis aao,” “you had 18 years” and “administrative units” bullshit up your ass. You have had enough of my attention. Come back with an actual argument or shut the fuck up before I block you.

And now we are supposed to believe the same political project demanding Karachi be separated from Sindh is suddenly about “better governance” and “administrative efficiency”? Fucking spare me.

MQM today reminds me of a snake that has lost its fangs. It looks considerably less frightening, so people conveniently forget what it was capable of when it could actually bite. Giving that politics exclusive control over Karachi again would not be liberation. It would be resurrecting a nightmare the city has already lived through.

I may be thousands of miles away, but Sindh is still my land, my identity and where I come from. Living abroad for education or work does not erase any of that. This is literally the least I can do from here.

And I am an immigrant in America. I am grateful to the country that hosts me, I respect its people and its laws, and somehow I still remain Sindhi. Funny how migration works, no? 😂

So stop this “wapis aao” bullshit. Distance does not cancel identity, and you certainly do not get to issue certificates deciding who is allowed to speak for Sindh.

Codswallop! Since you are so fond of asking “which book?”, perhaps we should apply your own standard consistently. Which book says a woman is never fit for independence and must remain under her father, husband or sons? Manusmriti 9.3. Which book says one trustworthy man can testify but not even many women because women’s understanding is supposedly unstable? Manusmriti 8.77. Which book says a Shudra may be compelled into servile work because he was created for service? Manusmriti 8.413. Which book lists war captives, purchased persons and inherited persons among seven categories of slaves? Manusmriti 8.415.

Should I therefore cherry pick these passages and declare that every Hindu today supports misogyny, caste oppression and slavery? No….because that would be intellectually dishonest. Ancient religious and legal traditions have complicated histories and have to be understood in context.

And that is precisely the point you keep missing. Nobody was vouching for Lodhi. KBC asked who founded the Lodhi dynasty. Knowing a historical fact is not endorsing the person involved. A contestant winning money for knowing the answer does not magically transform the historical figure into someone being celebrated.

You began by accusing KBC of glorifying lodhi. When that argument collapsed, you moved to lodhi’s alleged atrocities, then Islamic law, then slavery, women and religious insinuations. You are no longer even defending your original claim. You are simply advertising your prejudice while pretending it is historical analysis. So perhaps before asking me “which book?”, read your own books and, more importantly, learn the difference between studying history and glorifying it, you fucking idiot.

For far too long we have tolerated them mocking our language, our culture, our history and even calling us ghair muqami in Karachi. Now they have the audacity to openly discuss cutting Karachi away from Sindh and expect us to treat it as some administrative or governance debate.

And yes, we should answer them. Every lie, on every platform. I am tired of hearing the same ridiculous story that Sindhis were supposedly slaves before 1947, that we had no civilisation worth speaking of, and that mohajirs somehow arrived and liberated us. They have been repeating a lie for generations to make people start mistaking it for history. That is exactly why Sindhis need to know their history well enough to give a shut up call whenever this bullshit is repeated.

You are also right that we need to awaken our own people. Sindhi youth should be encouraged to study, work, build businesses and settle in Karachi. It is Sindh’s capital and its biggest economic centre. Why should a young Sindhi from Larkana, Sukkur, Dadu, Khairpur or Thar ever be made to feel like an outsider for coming to Karachi? We need to own our city by actually participating in its economic, cultural and civic life.

Maybe our tolerance has too often been mistaken for weakness. Sindh’s sufi character and peaceful culture should never mean remaining silent while our history is mocked or our territorial integrity is questioned. It is time to awaken Sindhis, know our history, answer every lie confidently and never again allow anyone to make Sindhis feel like strangers in Sindh.

Your claim was that KBC was “glorifying” Lodi. I pointed out that asking who founded a dynasty is a factual history question, not glorification. Now you are desperately asking whether Lodi was a murderer and whether he will go to hell, which has absolutely nothing to do with your original claim. A history quiz can ask about Hitler, Stalin or Genghis Khan without glorifying any of them. So no, my response does not prove I am biased. I am not being biased. You are simply being a hater.
