STATEHOUSE STATEMENT
Counterterrorism Operation Against ISIS senior leader, Abu-Bilal Al-Manuki
Overnight, Nigeria and the United States recorded a significant example of effective collaboration in the fight against terrorism.
Our determined Nigerian Armed Forces, working closely with the Armed Forces of the United States, conducted a daring joint operation that dealt a heavy blow to the ranks of the Islamic State.
Early assessments confirm the elimination of the wanted IS senior leader, Abu-Bilal Al-Manuki, also known as Abu-Mainok, along with several of his lieutenants, during a strike on his compound in the Lake Chad Basin
Nigeria appreciates this partnership with the United States in advancing our shared security objectives. I extend my sincere gratitude to President Trump for his leadership and unwavering support in this effort.
I commend the personnel involved on both sides for their professionalism and courage, and I look forward to more decisive strikes against all terrorist enclaves across the nation.

On the Renewed Hope National Media Tour, I traveled the North West corridor by road in CNG vehicles initiated by this administration.
The delegation inspected the 108km Abuja-Kaduna stretch in Jere and other strategic projects along the route. Working with Renewed Hope Ambassadors, the mission is to document the real impact of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Administration across Nigeria, especially in education and youth engagement.
From infrastructure to student-focused interventions like Nelfund, we’re tracking delivery and outcomes where it matters most: on the ground.

The Renewed Hope National Media Tour – North West has officially commenced, promoting transparency, accountability, and direct public engagement.
Flagged off in Abuja by the Presidential Communications Team and Renewed Hope Ambassadors, the first leg began with Kaduna, where the team inspected the completed 108km stretch from Tungan-Maje in Abuja to Jere in Kaduna. What was once a corridor defined by delay is steadily becoming a route of movement, commerce, and renewed confidence.
This tour, which will visit various states of the North West, is about more than projects. It is about restoring trust between the government and the governed by showing the work, not just speaking about it.

A remarkable celebration that brought together legacy, honor, and purpose in grand style.
Three significant events in one unforgettable sequence the conferment of Baroyin of Iwoland, the TR @60 birthday celebration, and the unveiling of the TR Foundation. Each moment reflected a life dedicated to impact, leadership, and excellence.

I appreciate all Nigerians, it is time to reflect, to give thanks to God and as we rededicate ourselves to the progress, development and prosperity of this country...some of the challenges are as a result of a war we have no control of, but we are a resilient nation that is very committed to the way of God"
