This is my opinion and im open to criticism… Yes, if you’re talking or praying to God in your head, it still counts as prayer. You do not have to say it out loud for God to know what you mean.

The Bible specifically supports this idea in verses like, 1 Samuel 1:13 describes Hannah praying “in her heart” while her voice was not heard. Her prayer was still recognized as prayer.
Psalm 139:2 - 4 says that God knows our thoughts and knows a word even before it is on our tongue.
Matthew 6:6 also describes praying privately to God, emphasizing that God sees what is done in secret.
So if you're sitting there thinking, “God, please help me,” “Thank You,” “I'm sorry,” “Why is this happening?”, or simply talking to Him in your mind, you don't need to make your voice audible for it to be a genuine prayer.
Speaking out loud can sometimes help you concentrate or express your feelings, but biblically, the fact that God knows the heart and thoughts means silent prayer is still prayer.

Can we now come to the conclusion that, God doesn't need your prayer to make a sound for Him to hear it?
