@jtavegia5845@ClayTravis@dawnstaley@Outkick You are markedly underestimating the influence of the universities in the silence of these women. Their jobs are in jeopardy if they speak out; why would the schools fire them for their silence and replace them with someone outspoken when universities are pushing the agenda?
@Chicken_Bawker@ClayTravis@dawnstaley@Outkick Their refusal to comment wasn't "brave." It was self-preservation. It does send a tiny, tiny message, but not as powerful as if some of them would stand up for their sport. The allowance of trans or identifying athletes will markedly alter the landscape of female athletics.
@12thMan_Rising Spotrac's numbers don't add up. Lockett had $9.8M in dead money from his original deal/restructures-that $ doesn't disappear. Spotrac shows the signing and restructure bonuses in '25, but put it right to the cap hit, not dead money. OTC shows a different/more accurate picture.
@spotrac The numbers in your Lockett summary don't seem to add up. He had $9.8 mill dead money for '25 prior to restructure. You still show $7.8M in pro-rated signing bonus plus $6M in other next year, but dead cap of just $4M if he's released. How is that not all dead money?
@Cam24Thomas I don't think you know what you are talking about with the @Seahawks. Let me re-phrase. You are clueless with Seattle. Solid crop of players to plug needs. Kept the FAs they needed. Transitioning D personnel to fit Macdonald.
@_MylesAllen4@dpbrugler It isn't that they got them wrong. They knew they were risky picks, which is why they didn't go Top 10. But teams were desperate. Gotta swing for the fences sometimes.
@SpoonIsland7 @B_Millard92@TyTobiczyk_5 @DerianMike @FantasyReceipts Feel free to apologize at any time. Details are finally out on Lockett's new deal. $50 mill in cap hit over the next two years, which all but guarantees he won't be a Seahawk in '25. $14M in dead money will hit cap in '25/$31M minimum if on the roster.

@NoNotSurprised@BenjaminSolak@32BeatWriters There won't be a competition between Geno and Howell after this season...Geno will be gone. His cap hit next season is almost $40M.
@NorbCam@Seahawks I'm good with that. As I looked under the pads...didn't like what I saw. Very poorly graded and a lot of disdain from Tampa Bay fans.
@StacyRost@SeattleSports The only part of FA that is annoying me are the 12s. They complain about our D and inability to stop the run or teams on 3rd down, yet get upset when we move on from players that weren't good system fits. Improvement requires changes!
@_Mathayus_@SeahawksBN Lockett's details are not out. Lots of wild assumptions, but no actual details. I get why they sit on FA #s before they sign, but not Lockett. Seems like something is up there.
@coppertankaaron @pride_husky@NathanE11 @trumplostsuckit I never thought Brooks was a good fit for a 3-4 defense (or Bobby). The Ravens killed us based on their film study...on both sides of the ball. Macdonald didn't want them because of what he saw on tape so not baffled at all.
Old post, but a little glimpse of what Jenkins can do against the best in the game (4 Rec. for 26 yards; Herndon gave up the TD). Looking forward to what Macdonald has in store for him.
