Some key details:

- The brigade's objective was to capture two Russian strongpoints in order to cut off a key logistics route running from Horlivka to Bakhmut.
- The positions were defended by around 30 Russian troops.
- Preparation for the operation lasted nearly two weeks. Aerial reconnaissance teams created an accurate model of the Russian defenses. Based on this model, a replica of the enemy trench and bunker system was built, allowing the assault teams to rehearse every stage of the upcoming battle.
- The first strongpoint was captured in less than an hour. The second strongpoint was captured shortly afterward.
- Most of the defenders were killed, Some fled, and two Russians soldiers were captured.
- During the operation, the brigade lost two soldiers, while several others sustained injuries. 1:35 ; 7:19 ;
