I must ask anyone reading this never to contradict me in any way, as it interferes with the functioning of the gastric juices and prevents my sleeping at night.
@KevinBehan @CheapIndieVinyl I’ve never listened to any on my set up so I couldn’t tell you that with certainty, but those who own or have heard the first press usually say so. I have reissues of the debut and Coming Up & they’re far from audiophile quality but not as bad as this Dinked edition is described.
@CheapIndieVinyl I almost caved in when I knew it was about to sell out but I resisted, like I have with the other reissues of it. It’s a shame, I thought they might get it right this time.
@CL_Meadows The lack of punctuation in her reply makes it even more ruthless. Cormac McCarthy, if he was in a little England/Local People only Facebook group.
@ATRightMovies The Wind and The Lion (1975), Sir Joshua Smith shoots several attacking Berber horsemen with a pistol. When the next wave charges, he pulls the trigger but is out of bullets. He does not react at all, he just says “damn.” in a clipped tone, before he is cut down with a sword.
@CENTREBULLET Derek Jarman said when he first saw Adam Ant, he was walking down the Kings Road barechested with his leather jacket slung over one shoulder, cos he’d just had “FUCK” carved into his back with a razor blade by Jordan, therefore he immediately had to cast him in the film Jubilee.
@SalvadorDafti It was amazing to Google search Funkadelic for the first time and see that as the main photo for the article on Wikipedia and then think, “I know exactly where that is…”
@kf_morris The rotten facade of The Futurist looked better than that Juche sarcophagus. I walked past when it was being “built” and saw one lad in high vis demonstrating to another that every aspect of it is slapped together from the shoddiest materials known to man.
