@surajit_ghosh2 I saw that this house was standing and people were waving for help later on roof I am genuinely curious about the construction of this building and what made it so strong
@GuntherEagleman@grok@grok ACLED (Armed Conflict Location & Event Data) is an independent, non-profit organization and global conflict monitor. So you see what is going on here? You are accepting a NGO’s advice on weather de-funding ngo’s is a bad idea.
@GuntherEagleman@grok@grok for several years we have seen massive protests that attacked federal buildings and destroyed property. I see minor protests these days against ice here n there.
You read labels because you want to know what you’re eating. But what happens when you can’t trust the label?
A recent UC Davis study tested 28 potato chip products marketed as made with avocado oil.
26 of the 28 had oil profiles inconsistent with pure avocado oil.
That’s 93%.
One appeared to contain soybean oil instead of avocado oil.
And here’s the kicker:
Manufacturers can buy their oil from wholesalers and hide comfortably behind, “We thought it was 100% avocado oil.”
How convenient.
It just goes to show that you can’t trust labels.
@Jhonffonseca Not off topic. I love the game of soccer, but seeing something like this gives perspective on the dramatization of injuries and fouls in soccer. Jugadores, these women are laughing at you.
@DrJesseMorse Thx Doc! I have liked Thorn as well. The saying was buy it there first and you'll know if it does what you think cause it is a quality product.

@astro_Pettit Weird how I've seen "thousands of image from space" that are published, and nothing remotely resembles this. How can that be...? maybe this is faked and edited? or maybe they are all fake?
Ceuta resident: "They've invaded us....We're locked in our homes..The supermarkets have been looted...
..there are no supplies, there's absolutely nothing....They're trying to break into houses.......There's no one to protect us...They've abandoned us."
@mattvanswol A lot of trucks there... and a machine was obviously used for excavation. They get a lot of things right, but it is definitely a "light hybrid" approach.
@USMNTfanatics16 After I saw him play last night I concluded 100% he could not be the best choice. Some big mistakes in big games at WC2026 and last night confirmed his instincts were poor.
@tuchojurnet13 I thought for sure he will start Barco in the last game. Need that high energy to chase the ball defensively and force errors. DePaul and the team were tired.
Could send off cucarella, missed a couple yellows for Spain and free kick outside of box. That being said, Argentina should have played better- I’m thinking there are reasons why they didn’t… weird substitutions and uncharacteristic injuries sideline players… doesn’t feel like a legit game…
