@ChrisDRimmer I get that. Bad people can do good things and while the jury is out on whether or not that makes a difference on whether the person is bad or not, a net increase in good out in the world can't be a bad thing.
@imalsoscarlet I'm a big fan, easily one of my favourite settings in a long time. Mechanically the cypher system is nice and easy to get into. I liked it enough to write and publish my own third party content for it.
@KissItBett3r Hell yes. Voices are so important. But it can also be extremely specific, like I only find a particular voice attractive when it's modulated a certain way and pace or saying certain things. Like Thomas Kretschmann reciting a Charles Baudelaire poem in the film "Immortal Ad Vitam"
For anyone that cares, I'm pretty much posting exclusively on https://t.co/UeQo1oR1hd now. Currently my #dungeon23 / #City23 / #setting23 / #finishit23 project Emberheart is what I'm posting about. It's a ttrpg setting set in a city built around the fading heart of a dead god.
@KissItBett3r I don't know whether it's really your thing, but the last urban fantasy I enjoyed was The Hole Behind Midnight by Clinton Boomer. I've also been meaning to try out the Aled Versus novels by Benedict Jacka, but I know nothing about them beyond the synopsis on the back.
@KissItBett3r https://t.co/8OaEQdicVB makes it easier to migrate - people just need to add their mastodon profile links to their twitter profiles and this tool will be able to give you a CSV to import into mastodon so you can follow them.
@KissItBett3r I'm incredibly inactive on any social media, but I'm finding mastodon nicer, if for no other reason than the only thing I see on it is other people and not promotions of ads or the latest clickbait controversy I don't need to know or care about.
