@FenitN Agree 💯. I understand the urge to cancel - not buying is sometimes the only power people feel they have. But in this case - in a media landscape where reporter layoffs are already happening regularly - canceling does more harm than good.

And now I’m feeling cowardly for having made that choice for *that* reason. Or maybe it’s just that I didn’t need to iron out my gender identity in a national publication. Either way, the in-betweenness of this doesn’t always sit well in a world committed to binaries.
