Today's "historic" June 6 protest at Jantar Mantar looks less like a mass movement and more like a YouTubers' meet-and-greet.
The attendance sheet seems to read:

🎥 40% vloggers
🎤 35% media crews
📱 20% people livestreaming themselves watching the protest
🙋 5% actual protesters

The funniest part? Half the crowd claiming to represent Gen Z looks like they had personally witnessed black-and-white television being invented.
And just when the event was struggling to attract sympathy, someone thought, "You know what this needs? Azadi slogans."
At that point even the pigeons around Jantar Mantar reportedly filed for early departure.

By evening, the protest are likely to successfully achieve three things:

1. Increased YouTube content production.
2. Boosted microphone sales.
3. Confirmed that "viral on social media" and "crowd on the ground" are not the same thing. It is not unusual for a person with 50k friends and followers on Social Media to have only 10 for her/his funeral!
