@C0MM0NPE0PL3 ... si? non sempre capisci esattamente le intenzioni dell'altra persona. chiaramente non lo vai a chiedere così, ma almeno da capire se si sta insieme o no
"You're wrong," Nathaniel says. "They can't leave without Andrew, and Andrew won't go anywhere until he talks to me."
"You don't know that."
"Yes, I do." Even if it is just to tear Nathaniel apart for hiding this
from him, Andrew will wait as long as it takes.
Andrew isn’t looking, but maybe he feels the weight of Neil's stare, because after a couple minutes he says, "Problem?"
"No," Neil says, but even he hears the lie. "Andrew? Last summer you made me a promise. I'm asking you to break it."
"No," Andrew says without hesitation.
"I don't want you to," Neil says. "I need you to let me go."
"Give me one good reason," Andrew says.
"If I'm hiding behind you I'm still running. I don't want to end the year like this. I want to stand on my own two feet. Let me do that. None of this means anything if I don't."
Neil knows better than to look, but he goes anyway. Wymack and Andrew are right behind him. Neil follows Matt's gaze to the far wall and feels his stomach bottom out. Written in blood across the tile is a bold message:
"Happy 19th Birthday, Jr.".
"When Coach signed us he promised to stay out of our personal problems. He said the board paid him to be our coach nothing more or less."
"I didn't think I was a personal problem. You hate me, remember?"
"Every inch of you," Andrew says. "That doesn't mean I wouldn't blow you."
