My exam hall had CCTV cameras so did other centers not have the budget? Was that not a criteria while selecting centers?

Also what security reason would prevent centers from installing cameras? They exist for security. Cameras are there to maintain the integrity of the exam.

@manassingh2611 We absolutely need to catch cheaters. Unfortunately, CCTV is not deployed inside exam halls for security reasons. But we can and do use other methods.

Saw a post about the huge difference in marks scored by some students between jee advanced paper 1 and paper 2, how tf are students scoring negative marks in paper 1 managing to score 100+ marks in paper 2? Also, paper 2 was relatively tougher than paper 1.
