Farage tried to put Rupert in prison. Rupert has been fighting for the cause for as long as Farage has. The only difference is that Farage was public-facing and Rupert wasn’t, until recently. Restore exists as a direct consequence of Farage’s mistakes. One man’s mistake is another man’s benefit. I’m glad Rupert was introduced to the world, for he speaks common sense.
@HoodedClaw1974 Margaret Thatcher famously believed that above said sitcom offered an eerily accurate portrayal of how Whitehall and the British government actually functioned. Even to this day, you can see why.
Harry, I'm disappointed in your post because I think you’re confusing wealth with net worth. Those are different concepts. Also, people in secure public-sector roles may sometimes have a different perspective on cost-of-living pressures than those in the private sector. For example, a private-sector worker may face redundancy, reduced hours, unstable contracts, or the loss of benefits during a downturn, while still having the same rent, mortgage, energy bills, childcare costs, and food prices to pay - whereas a secure, pensioned role like those in the civil service, can make those pressures feel more distant or less immediate. So it's rather unfair and bitter of you to make such a post.
@collorashy10 Sounds like you’re harbouring a deep resentment over something none of us had any say in, because it all happened before either of us was born. You seem fixated on twisting it into a narrative that serves your own abhorrent agenda.

Because Farage helped the Conservatives win a huge majority in 2019, but got nothing durable in return. The Brexit Party won no MPs, had no leverage after the election, and allowed the Conservatives to absorb the Leave vote without being seriously challenged from the right. So it was indeed a mistake because it saved the Tories and kicked down the road this wretched situation we have now.
