I know I'm supposed to be all-in as a #MAGA, but #Trump asking Zelenskyy to go to Moscow, is as smart as Trump demanding Zelenskyy for elections when #Russia was sending cruise missiles into #Ukraine. (just laugh at the first 3 seconds) https://t.co/UimTeQ969S
@orangeflavored_@avechristu96332 You'd be a foolish pope with foolish cardinals if you issued a catechism that contradicted Canon Law. I know Pope Francis' revisions dialed down the Church support in the Catechism for capital punishment. What point specifically do you think there's a contradiction? (last chance)
@orangeflavored_@avechristu96332 You asked about how Canon Law is enforced. Can't even come close to answering in a single free-user comment. You have to follow the link on your divergent question. The black-on-white link is an AI response. With two quarters and that AI response, you'd have fifty cents.
@orangeflavored_@avechristu96332 I don't usually respond to divergent questions as it betrays a lack of ability to respond to debate points. You can read up your answer yourself:

@orangeflavored_@avechristu96332 I think you were wishing for low-hanging poorly-formed Catholics to debate with. That ain't me. I'm no Thomas Aquinas, but I'm way ahead of Martin Luther.
@orangeflavored_@avechristu96332 Sir/Madam, you said I was "interpreting." I had to do screenshots to make the paragraphs whole. (I refuse to verify. The Internet was always intended to be anonymous.) I found the related material on salvation for those outside the Catholic Church FROM THE CATECHISM.
@orangeflavored_@avechristu96332 But a former Catholic, who was well-formed and well-treated by the Church, goes church-shopping, that's a very serious problem. Initiated Catholics do not have moral agency to leave. No matter, "what if..."
@orangeflavored_@avechristu96332 I think you are getting there. If an isolate Amazonian tribesman (knows nothing of Jesus) follows his own well-formed conscience then yes, salvation is possible by an extraordinary act of God, just like Jesus on the cross saving the criminal.
@orangeflavored_@avechristu96332 Canon Law cannot contradict the Catechism, although that's backwards, the Catechism cannot contradict Canon Law. So you must be confused on some point. What would that be?
@orangeflavored_@avechristu96332 Start a new topic or comment on where I started:
Rebellion with the Church that Jesus granted authority to, "He who listens to you{Apostles}, listens to Me.{Jesus}" is rebellion with Christ Himself.
@orangeflavored_@avechristu96332 Finally those who turn away:
CCC 846: "Hence they could not be saved who, knowing that the Catholic Church was founded as necessary by God through Christ, would refuse either to enter it or to remain in it."
- with the other allowances of "invincible ignorance" of Catholicism.
@orangeflavored_@avechristu96332 CCC 851: "God wills the salvation of all through the knowledge of the truth. Salvation is found in the truth. Those who obey the prompting of the Spirit of truth are already on the way of salvation..."
@BreeSolstad Are we sowing division and discord Father? Are you in good-standing with you Bishop? If your bishop isn't stopping you from Latin Mass, why cause a fuss?
@lukeappleton Except the King's English doesn't speak to your average person on the street or in the alley. The KJV pre-dates the discovery of The Dead Sea Scrolls. This discovery had Hebrew OT texts (including the "missing" 2nd canon passages in Hebrew). So Historically KJV is stale & moldy.
