Historically, this will be one of the biggest summers Aberdeen City Centre’s ever seen… surely!?

Bit reflective this week, got the post-Tall Ships blues if I’m honest. We had a great weekend trading prints, chatting away with folk, Aberdonians and beyond. It was a real pleasure to capture moments like Finnies the Jeweller onboard Tudor Watch event and The McGinty's Group Silver Darling farewell event ❤️.
It also should be widely recognised we can hold major events hosting 400,000 guests into to our City and Shire, with 3 of the worlds top 100 golf courses, castles, beaches, wildlife, royal history, the best food, drink and culture around Scotland and the world… we have our own Doric USP 🔥.

🔴⚪️ Aberdeen Football Clubs euphoric Scottish Cup win, brining 100,000 fans in and around our granite mile is another reminder that our deep rooted culture supports our local side, and this should be recognised by the city council for more backing to our Club. Our “One Club City” brought family’s together, and inspired young and old to back there local team, and to pick a ball up, lay there jumpers down as goals, and kick a ball!

🌍 Next week the eyes of the world will be focusing on our wee corner of Scotland as the President of the United States and UK Prime Minster hold a meeting in Aberdeen.

Say what you like – aye, we love a good moan – but there’s a lot to be proud of as an Aberdonian this summer. These memories’ll bide wi’ us ❤️.💡
