to the vaccine
after that I told myself
that I just had to make it
to the first booster
then to the second booster
and now I just try
to make it through each week.
If you have the luxury and flexibility to stay home when you are ill with something contagious, it is your obligation to do so. Community care means keeping your infections to yourself.

has been fairly mild
does not mean
that those you pass the virus to
will have the same experience.
Just a friendly reminder that if you're traveling and seeing people and haven't taken COVID precautions, you may be the reason that there is an empty spot around someone else's winter holiday table later this year.
