on another note, I think I say this every year but I'mma try to condense it bc I swear I go on a whole spiel about it every time: we are all adults roleplaying. let's respect the pilots. let's respect everyone who's playing hard roles, especially the good chunk of all the whitelisted roles (PD, EMS, Mechanics, Restaurant, News, etc) require so much out of their pilots.

we get tired too. we wanna make a good story for y'all to enjoy. we can try to pretend to be okay but what y'all say does affect our mental. so if you can, from the bottom of my heart, please just have genuine support. clip your oshis, make art, talk about their POVs. enjoy some POVs you've never seen before to see the other side. don't be biased. have respectful discussions about the characters.

I'm writing this as a heartfelt ask, not as a way to point or blame. Please just give PD a break - this year the server is chaotic.

There are so many more people in the server, and so many new features. This enevitably has lead to server instability, crashes, and HUGE bubbles at no blame to the boy's or their team (who are doing an insane amount of work behind the scene to keep things running and make things better).

This is frustrating a lot of people in the server, so please understand this frustation is magnified tenfold on the PD side where we literally can't perform our "job" or RP. A lot of people can still walk around and do their thing, like RP, or rob packages or atms, with some level of delay. PD is reactive, we quite literally can't do anything, and are expected to do EVERYTHING at the exact same time, like taxi-ing people across the city, or commiting to supporting your RP of jumping on a police car and yelling "LALALA".

Look at this video and understand what we have to work with. We're doing our best to give people fun chases - not win and catch everyone, but give RP and chases that are fun to watch and be a part of. We're doing our best despite what we're working with.

I keep hearing chatters and streamers, OOC, saying "the cops this year suck," and I keep seeing chatters carrying this sentiment across spaces. Please stop. It's breaking us.
