"Genuine progress is the ability to be Black and stumble around a bit," Esau McCaulley writes. "This is true of celebrities and ordinary folks. Everything we do should not be a commentary on our race." https://t.co/4drXaHrbG5

Even with a sorrowful spirit from hearing about yet another horrific massacre, this time in Texas, my heart remains full after spending the afternoon with the IBA/CRE Dream Team. First time I have seen them all in person since March 2020🥰
I am better because of y’all 🙏🏽 ❤️
We did it! #passin2021. Thank you Bonnie for the opportunity. Thank you to my fellow cast members. Thank you to all my friends and family who showed up in a range of ways to support me. Only God knows where I will end up in all of this-grateful to have the courage to see💯#onward

Our @OEAnyc Implicit Bias Awareness workshops are bridges to unpacking how #education systems & policies often reflect harmful biases & stereotypes. Connecting the individual to the systemic is necessary in this work. I'm looking forward to more of these and other sessions.
What a perfect day to commemorate the start of @ELSJInyc students’ search for & discovery of true liberation! This Juneteenth was marked by our young people reflecting, celebrating & rooting for one another as they grow into young advocates for social & racial justice! @nikkyyarde
