ITN bleating about the budget. No commentary about the impacts of Net Zero/ Green energy on the cost of living crisis. Don't get me started on impact of net migration of 700,000 a year on rents. ITN, BBC, etc, have little understanding of economics. Unless they have an agenda.

So it was today 40 years ago when the miners' strike started. The media has made it appear that the Tories were wicked then. But would Labour re-open coal mines today. Tories would in Cumbria, but Ed Miliband says no. Labour is not the party of coal miners. What a change.

@JuliaHB1 I have been watching BBC and ITN News and am puzzled as to why they have not been reporting these threats to our democracy. Yet Channel 4, for example ,had Baroness Warsi on at the weekend talking about Lee Anderson. What does Warsi say about this?

May I take this opportunity to thank ITN, BBC, Sky etc, to highlight the suffering caused by Hamas. They do not point this out but we need to remember Israel only responded to the rapes, murders and invasion Hamas caused on Oct 7. Every suffering child is Gaza is due to Hamas.

ITN bleating about energy bills and debt. But high energy prices are caused by our lack of supply. Fracking would slash bills. Don't blame Russia, blame our Net Zero obsessed politicians. We could be energy self sufficient if we wanted, with cheaper bills.
