Jerry Lewis left an estimated $50 million estate. His will has one clause for his sons: "I have intentionally excluded Gary, Ronald, Anthony, Christopher, Scott and Joseph and their descendants as beneficiaries of my estate, it being my intention that they receive no benefits."
In the video below, you hear Jerry Lewis himself, and the daughter he never acknowledged.
Everything went to his second wife, Sandy, and their daughter Danielle, adopted 25 years earlier. In one of his last interviews he was asked what he was most proud of in his life. "My daughter."
The six sons he had with his first wife, Patti Palmer, got nothing. A family law attorney says he could do whatever he wanted. He was of sound mind, and he had his reasons.
There was one more child. Susan Lewis, a daughter he never acknowledged, was found homeless on the streets of Philadelphia two weeks before the report aired. Asked if she was entitled to some of the $50 million, she said, "I think that I would deserve something, especially in my situation."
Like her brothers, she is apparently getting nothing.
Was Jerry Lewis free to leave everything to the one daughter he chose, or did he turn his back on seven children, one of them living on the street?
Moonbound soon! Reid, Christina, Jeremy & Vic are living in the @NASA quarantine facility, ready to launch in 9 days.
They have spent years in that simulator behind them, and many similar, inventing how to work through all possible failures. They're the first crew to ever fly the huge SLS rocket, and to pilot the Orion spaceship. They will be the fastest humans in history.
Risking their lives for all who follow, as we start settling on the Moon and beyond.
Artemis 2 will be test-fueled starting tomorrow night, a critical dress rehearsal. If all goes well, launch is 9:41 PM EST on Friday 6 Feb.

Magellan Winnipeg employees gathered to watch a rare celestial event today as a solar eclipse travelled across NA. Winnipeg was not under the path of totality, but there was still much interest and enthusiasm to see the partial eclipse that happened this afternoon.
Today, during a total solar eclipse that will take place over parts of NA, NASA plans to launch 3 #MagellanAeroBlack Brant IX sounding rockets to measure how the sudden disappearance of sunlight impacts Earth’s upper atmosphere.
