Ex producer from the CBC legacy media in Canada turns the tables on the network, admitting what we already knew, that they produce nothing but propaganda.
Legacy media is dead.
We are the media now, and 𝕏 is the platform for independent journalists and unfiltered truth.
Normie Logic: Bitcoin is backed by nothing.
Reality: Bitcoin is backed by energy expenditure, a fixed issuance schedule that's never been amended, and more raw computing power than anything humanity has ever built.
The dollar is backed by confidence in the same institution sitting on $39 trillion in debt and accelerating.
Bitcoin is the future of money.
Follow if you're serious about building wealth they can't print away.
In February 2022 Chrystia Freeland, Canada's Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister, told the banks they could freeze citizens' accounts without a judge. The RCMP handed exchanges a list of 34 bitcoin addresses to freeze too.
Everything a bank held, they reached. 257 accounts, about $7,800,000, some belonging to people the inquiry later said had no connection to the protests at all.
The bitcoin was different. Most of it had already been handed to truckers in envelopes. The wallet company answered the order in one line: "We do not hold any keys. Therefore, we cannot freeze our users' assets." By Bitcoin Magazine's count, about 0.28 bitcoin was ever seized, out of more than $1,000,000 raised.
Now the dates.
November 19, 2025: the Rhodes Trust names Freeland its next CEO.
January 16, 2026: a unanimous Federal Court of Appeal rules the whole thing unlawful and unconstitutional. The protests "fell well short of a threat to national security."
July 1, 2026: she starts her cushy new job anyway.
The Rhodes Trust was founded by a man who wrote, in his own will, that his fortune should go to "a Secret Society, the true aim and object whereof shall be for the extension of British rule throughout the world." That is not a theory. The will is public.
So put it plainly. Two courts graded the account freezes as unlawful, and the Rhodes Trust kept her anyway. Unlawful freezes of your money must be on the Trust's agenda.
The only money that didn't get seized was the bitcoin held in people's own custody. Bitcoin is money beyond the reach of the open conspiracy.
"Lose your password and your bitcoin is gone forever. No thanks."
Cute.
You just described the reason it's worth owning and mistook it for a flaw.
There's no support line because there's nobody above you. And nobody above you means nobody who can reverse your transaction.
You can't build a vault that only YOU can open and also one that a stranger in a call center can open.
The undo button and the off switch are the same switch.
That's Bitcoin.
What you're flinching at isn't passwords. It's responsibility.
And it feels alien because you've spent your whole life outsourcing it.
But here's what nobody tells the nervous: it isn't all or nothing. You don't leap from zero to perfect self-custody in one jump.
There's a dial.
Set it to your comfort level, then turn it up over time.
1. Shaky hands? Start here.
Keep a small amount on a reputable exchange.
Just understand that's an IOU on someone else's ledger, not yours.
That's the portion they can freeze.
Keep it small on purpose.
2. Next, a software wallet.
On your phone or computer.
Think of it as spending money or bitcoin you plan to gift.
Keep only enough that losing your phone would be an inconvenience, not a catastrophe.
3. Then, a hardware wallet.
Offline. Air-gapped.
This is your savings vault—a larger stack you don't need to access regularly.
4. Diversify your storage.
Multiple wallets. Multiple methods. Multiple locations.
You don't keep your entire net worth in your front pocket, and you don't keep it all in one bank. The same logic applies to Bitcoin.
5. When the amount becomes significant, use multisig.
Two of three keys to move a single sat.
This may become part of your estate plan.
Lose one key? You're fine.
A thief gets one? They get nothing.
No single point of failure.
Self-custody isn't one thing.
It's a spectrum.
The larger your stack, the more sophisticated your security can become.
You don't have to adopt every technique on day one.
Also, they don't all have to be mutually exclusive!
You simply move up the ladder as your confidence and your bitcoin grow.
What do you think?
Lord. GitHub Actions having back-to-back incidents is really becoming the new normal 🤦♀️
At this point, “check GitHub Status” is step one of debugging CI.
@calliandraha@realAlexBeard@JackPosobiec Close maybe? I think it was deepstate as you said with globalist orgs like WHO and WEF. They want the Chinese communist systems for western democracies.
