"I remember an incredible photo I have with her ... after winning the Champions League, planting an FC Barcelona flag. I hope to do the same with PSG. My daughter won't be there physically, but she'll be there spiritually."
Luis Enrique made his daughter proud tonight 🥹
🗣️ Pierluigi Collina, when asked about the most moving moment of his career:
"We were in the last two minutes, and I saw the Bayern players on the bench ready to celebrate their title. The fans were hugging each other in the stands waiting for my final whistle.
Then suddenly, Manchester scores two goals in two minutes and reverses the score. I will never forget the joy of the players and the English bench, it looked like lions roaring, in front of a cathedral silence on the Bayern side.
The United players were running like crazy on the pitch, while I saw a Bayern player lying crying, without hope, with enormous disappointment. I approach him, but I can't think of anything else to say to him other than "Get up and fight, you still have 20 seconds left!
But at that moment, I saw the true face of football, where players would give their whole lives in a stadium, with people shouting with joy and others bruised deep in their souls." ❤️
Photo of Jim Carrey during Sophomore year in high school in Burlington, Ontario, Canada, 1970s. Jim and his family were so poor that they all lived out of a van during this time.
After school, Jim and his brother would work 8-hour shifts as janitors and security guards at a tire factory.
At age 16, Jim quit school and continued working at the factory while honing his craft as a comedian.
In an interview with the Hamilton Spectator in 2007, Jim said, "If my career in show business hadn't panned out, I would probably be working today in Hamilton, Ontario, at the Dofasco steel mill."
Huge congrats to South African MMA and South Africa, period! That is an incredible win for them inside the UFC’s Octagon! Title fight next for sure!
