@elonmusk For an intelligent man, you're awfully stupid. People cannot afford the children they already have. It's almost like people have a conscience about bringing children in this world that they're incapable of taking care of.
@jb_61820@theDRAMAgoat1 No they haven't. The vast majority of parents are capable of sitting with their elementary aged children to help them read, comprehend and support. Nothing to do with curriculum changes, but it's easier to blame than support their child.
@MsLindss Me either. I've said a hundred times this morning, I don't know how people do this for two and three days in a row. My feet are dying I'm exhausted and I just want to crawl into bed all day, but I have guilt about not going back today even though the parking lot was a nightmare.
@OBrienSci There's only so much we can do as teachers, and I can only enforce and deal with what is in front of me. I'm not policing the bathroom. Kids are allowed to go out one at a time for no more than 5 minutes, that's it. There's a bathroom 12 steps from my classroom door.

@adam_piercey I don't understand why, with the amount of money that we give away as a country, have not instead, purchased water planes (multiple of them) for all these catastrophes that are going to continue to happen.
@MsLindss@ChtownPE I don't know why people even bother. Just go straight and turn right . Then again, it's the same as the people who try to turn left after going into Tim's
@DanDaneymann@MrDanielBuck Gifted kids do not want to spend their time helping others. That's not on them, and it doesn't make the teacher bad because you aren't forcing the ideology if you're done you can do more work. That doesn't help develop their giftedness.
Hey @TSN_Sports , you know there are other sports and other teams playing games besides the Leafs, right? 28 straight minutes and 9 people discussing the Leafs. I can't wait for them to lose tonight so you'll maybe talk about something else.
@MrDanielBuck I use Chromebooks exactly four days for a project, and a week for Desmos in my senior math classes. Other than that, students use paper and pencils to complete their notes and practice and honestly, they prefer it that way.
