REMEMBER:

❌ 44ADA can't be opted unless and until you are a "specified professional" under Income Tax Act. Your remote job isn't eligible as specified professional in most cases.

❌ GST will be applicable on receipts from your remote job above 20 lakhs, so you will always have to deal with added GST compliance!

❌ If you don't opt 44ADA, either go with 44AD (deemed 8% or 6% profits) or maintain books of accounts.

❌ Showing 6% or 8% (under 44AD) or 50% (under 44ADA) profits is not your inherent right. Remember presumptive profit or actual profit, whichever is higher needs to be declared in your Tax Return.

✅ You still have to justify your investments and expenditures etc. u/s 69 if you are declaring less profits in ITR and have more investment or expenses. Otherwise 78% penalty u/s 115BBE!
