@sandeep_vobl @UpdatesChennai Air asia tried to make Chennai there hub but moved out after poor response from AAI, similarly many airlines had bad experience with AAI, Also ATF tax is 29% in chennai. Many factors plays key role in Airlines decision to pick the destination not just demand.

@sandeep_vobl @UpdatesChennai Huge demand is there in Chennai and North TN . Problem is with AAI's Pathetic Airport infra , poor management and zero marketing. Major share of bangalore's domestic pax comes from Ap and TN's close proximity . Local demand from Karnataka is very very small.

Chennai has 400+ GCCs and almost 2.1 Lakh professionals are working in the City.

We need large grade A+ office clusters with metro connectivity, betters roads and Supporting social infrastructure

@UpdatesChennai Came to know srilankan Tamil owned supreme consortium and chennai based Sherisha technology tried to buy Srilankan Airlines. Due to some politics intentionally some lobby stopped the transaction. If that happened 50 percent of those srilankan flights should have connected TN.

Even the cargo terminal in chennai is just small shed compared to Blr modern cargo village. But reality is still chennai cargo growing without any infra,that is the hard truth!.

@Keerthana4VNR Mam good job making OMR,MTP road and Pallavaram Radial road as GCC corridor. Also request to make Chennai bypass from Tambaram to Maduravoyal as GCC corridor. Many builders feel land constraints in OMR,radial road. Need more land bank which is possible in chennai bypass.
