You don’t have to love Elon Musk to recognize what this headline says about us.
A country that spends more time criticizing wealth creation than encouraging it sends a clear message to builders: your success is tolerated, not celebrated.
Canada should be the best place in the world to build ambitious companies. Headlines like this make us look like we’re not quite ready for that.
The Spurs are the only team in NBA history to have:
76 or more points in the first half
30 or fewer points in the second half
...in any game, regular season or playoffs.
This is the wildest World Cup story yet. If someone in Toronto sells a ticket above face value they get fined $25,000 yet the city of Toronto bought 3,500 World Cup tickets early and then sold them to taxpayers at a markup as a “revenue generation strategy.” What the hell man.
New York Knicks basketball player Josh Hart:
"Arsenal is not humble. Have they ever won a Champions League? How long have they been around? They never won that? Okay. London's blue, never red. Up the Chels" 🔵😂

I'm seeing a lot of posts about the council on antisemitism that @MarkJCarney announced this week, and I wanted to clarify something.
The Canadian PM, despite making a statement on antisemitism, in which he felt the need to reference transphobia and Islamophobia, did NOT put together a council on antisemitism.
He created the Ministerial Advisory Council on Rights, Equality and Inclusion.
If he was serious about ending Jew-hatred in Canada, he would have made a statement to the country, from Parliament.
If he was serious about ending Jew-hatred in Canada, he would have assembled a Council with the mandate of fighting Jew-hatred in Canada.
If he was serious about ending Jew-hatred in Canada, he would have assembled a Council that did not contain people accused of antisemitic actions.
If he was serious about ending Jew-hatred in Canada, he would have taken action well before now.
He is not serious about ending Jew-hatred in Canada.
And he continues to show us that he's not.
Acclaimed Hungarian Jewish director László Nemes just dropped a truth bomb at Cannes: “There’s an orgy of antisemitism, an absolute, shameless orgy of antisemitism, overtaking the West.”
His 2015 masterpiece Son of Saul — a harrowing film about a Sonderkommando at Auschwitz — won the Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film and the Cannes Grand Prix.
Today? He says it “wouldn’t even make the Oscar shortlist.” Because “of the politicization of cinemas, because anything that’s Jewish is now considered . . .nobody would touch it with a 10-foot pole.”
This is where we are. Jews are being erased from the stories of their own genocide while Hollywood and the cultural elite cheer. The entertainment industry’s antisemitic purge is real — and it’s accelerating.
We must call it out. Every single time. Thanks László Nemes for doing so at the risk of your own career.

Canada trails behind many of its OECD peers in business adoption of AI.
When our businesses don't operate at their full potential, Canada falls behind on the world stage.

@HenMazzig Mazal tov to Drake for winning the Capo Chanllenge! And shame on the rabbi that officiated his bar mitzvah on teaching him absolutely nothing…
‼️MAJOR BREAKING:
This has exploded open!
A NEW full list of tech companies speaking out against Carney's bill C-22, with many threatening to EXIT Canada entirely.
Some are CANADIAN companies!
👇🏼👇🏼
Meta (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp): Opposes Part 2, warning it could force backdoors or spyware installation. Testified before Parliament. The bill would “conscript private companies into service as an arm of the government surveillance apparatus.”
Apple: publicly warned the bill could force encryption backdoors and undermine device security.
Quote: “This legislation could allow the Canadian government to force companies to break encryption by inserting backdoors into their products—something Apple will never do.”
Windscribe (Canadian VPN provider): Joins Signal and threatens to relocate its headquarters or follow suit. Quote: “We won’t be far behind if C-22 passes. In its current state, VPNs would almost certainly require us to log identifying user data.
Shopify CEO Tobi Lütke: Vocal Canadian tech leader warning of broader economic damage.
Quotes (on X): “C-22 is looking like a huge mistake. It worries me a great deal. There is so much nonsense in there that it may well end up dealing a death blow to Canadian tech viability.”
Signal: VP Udbhav Tiwari said they would rather pull out of Canada entirely than compromise end-to-end encryption and privacy promises to users.
NordVPN: Warned they would "remove our presence from Canadian jurisdiction" before complying, to protect their no-logs policy and encryption.
The Chair of the the US House Judiciary Committee and Chair of the House Foreign Affairs Committee are now also investigating.
😂😭 Sacha Baron Cohen as Brüno on a talk show, casually revealing he swapped his iPod for an African baby… while the kid’s rocking a “GAYBY” shirt.
The audience is shocked and outraged from the second he opens his mouth, with immediate gasps, side-eyes, and disbelief. They had ZERO idea it was all a prank for the movie. 😂
Then the host asks for the baby’s name. Bruno replies that he gave him a traditional African name… OJ. 😭
And finally the ending… To “demonstrate how much he loves the child,” they show photos of Bruno & Baby OJ together. The audience reacts with loud gasps of shock before finally walking out in disgust at what they’re seeing. 😱😭
How he keeps a straight face throughout the whole thing is amazing.
