Golden Tempo is the real deal. Renegade ran a great race but GT just out raced him. Should have ran the Preakness. May have been a Triple Crown winner.
Looks like if the series goes that long. Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Finals will be in Vegas the day I arrive. I’m not a fan of either the Golden Knights or the Canes, but as a hockey fan, I feel like I’ll have to be in the building for that.
Renegade was the best horse in the Derby. If he didn’t get bunched up coming out of the gate, he wins going away. Can’t wait to bet on him in the Preakness (if he races).
Jazz Chisholm didn't cover first on a bunt play, hasn't hit all year, and made that insanely boneheaded play. Horrendous. This team needs a wake up call.
Jazz Chisholm Jr., explaining the final play: "I was really going to go try to tag the runner and just throw it to first. I don't know what the rule is. If I went to first base first and threw it back to second, if it's still an out. Is it still a double play? I don't know. Does it count as not an RBI?"
Trent Grisham, dressing at adjacent locker: "No, they'll score. They'll get there before the tag occurs at second."
Jazz: "Oh. Well, what I was trying to do in my mind probably wouldn't have worked anyway."
In a rare Sunday night Chinoe appearance, in honor of the 32nd anniversary of his death, I felt moved to perform the last song Kurt Cobain sung live: Where Did You Sleep Last Night. First time doing that, and I thought it went well. May have to add that to the rotation.

Give Iowa St credit. That pressure defense is ruthless. But Cats had a chance to step on the gas in the first half when Pope did his crazy substitutions again.
Other than a big UK home game, Rupp doesn’t get electric like it does for a state championship game. There really isn’t anything like it in the country.
