That's the crazy part. A year ago we'd spend months comparing models. Now it feels like every few weeks something new comes out and suddenly everyone's talking about a different "best" model.

I've been getting really good results from a local Qwen model for a music discovery project I'm building, but honestly, at the pace AI is moving right now, there's a decent chance I'll be playing with something even better next week.

It's a pretty wild time to be into AI.
