@Matthew_Tynan Between the Spurs and Brooklyn having up to three each as well as OKC having as many as four (plus a pick swap), that’s a third of the draft right there. Throw in the Pelicans two and you’ve got essentially half the draft potentially accounted for with those four teams.
@adamspiers I don’t think it makes a difference to the success of the overall project or the users. It just makes it easier, if/when you get bigger, to hand over responsibility for handling that sort of thing.
@Matthew_Tynan FWIW - I started paying the monthly a few years ago and I consider it money well spent. Makes the site so much more usable and enjoyable.
Wemby says the biggest difference he’s seen between European and US pro basketball is that players and coaches and front offices here work in “beautiful harmony,” and I’m just going to assume he hasn’t watched the Sixers yet.
@brian_sporer@mikefinger They absolutely should continue to research the condition, and if results in a general study suggest links, then you do a more focused study. Focusing too much on a small aspect, can make you miss a bigger picture & lose sight of multiple variables you didn’t know were involved.
@brian_sporer@mikefinger As I understand it, long COVID isn’t causing heart problems, it exacerbates an existing condition. I may well be wrong on this, but that’s my interpretation. The problem with demanding studies is that it becomes a political issue, not a scientific one.
@brian_sporer@mikefinger It is unreasonable because this has been happening for a long time and it hasn’t spiked. It just happened to somebody famous. The questions were asked when Hank Gathers died, when Reggie Lewis died and many others.
ADHD often means a lifelong complex relationship with food.
Do you struggle with the overwhelm of deciding what to eat? The decision fatigue? Often grab take-aways instead of cooking?
Lack the energy and brain bandwidth required to shop, plan, portion stuff out, and not burn stuff when cooking?
Perhaps you crave sugary or refined carbs snacks in the evening when your dopamine levels are low.
Maybe like so many ADHDers, you now struggle with disordered eating or have done so in the past (e.g. bulimia, binge eating, anorexia, orthorexia)
This week at @TheADHDCo we go through HOW and WHY #ADHD can cause challenges with eating healthily, before outlining realistic ways we can tackle them.

@Matthew_Tynan Oh man, I just made myself watch it. It’s been 10 years, and we got ‘14, but this still just guts me. I got to go to game 3 and it was amazing. I was so sure that I’d been able to witness part of a championship. Alas, ‘‘twas not to be.
@EB21122@JMcDonald_SAEN@Ljgarza5 They are trying, just not in the way you want them to. Why is throwing money into bad contracts, that you’d yell at them for doing later anyway, a saving move for the franchise?
