In my opinion, players always need a chance to hit the highs of their own personal game, and the current formats allow them do this. We are all busy at work in the day and have to compromise on time, etc. It can be slow when you’re having a bad day, but it can whiz by too.

As always, we listen to the players when deciding on match formats and other aspects of the service we offer. Having consulted players in the past, the majority say they prefer a longer format.

Thank you to everyone who came to GDL live in Southampton at the weekend it was a great day!

Lots of fun, great darts and, above all, lots of love in the room.

Planes, trains and automobiles were used to get to the venue with some people coming nearly 600 miles to be there!

With support from @TargetDarts supplying the boards and surrounds (thank you!), we were able to put on a great set up. There was a streamed board and 11 outside boards along with two practise boards.
