"Experts in long-term care were sounding the alarm on the lack of beds and shortage of staff to properly care for seniors long before COVID-19 arrived,” says @ColtonLeBlancPC, MLA for Argyle-Barrington and Critic for Pre-Hospital & Preventative Care.
WATCH: We chat with Dartmouth East MLA Tim Halman and Prince Andrew High School teacher Kurt Chadwick about the launch of a pantry program to ease the burden on students and families who find themselves short on supplies. @pantrypanther@TimothyHalman
Tim Halman sat down and read unanswered questions from parents, with school just two weeks away.

Dartmouth East MLA Tim Halman has been advocating for greater clarity on the back-to-school plan since June. Thank you for continuing to ask the questions concerning teachers, students and parents as we get closer to the start of a new and unprecedented school year.
The Liberals' vague back-to-school plan has created anxiety. Parents have questions, but so far, no answers.
@TimothyHalman is calling on the government to provide details for the safe and smart return to school in September.

#NovaScotia is the only province WITHOUT a plan for schools this fall.
We did our homework, drafted suggestions, and submitted them to Stephen McNeil.

Today is a special day!
Happiest of Birthdays to our Dartmouth East PC secretary @cIairebelliveau! Claire is an amazing and dedicated young woman. We are so fortunate to have her as part of our #DartmouthEast executive!
Bonne fête Claire! 🎂🎉
Great to be out in the community with Claire Belliveau this morning chatting with the awesome residents of #DartmouthEast.
Lots of talk of last nights 2.6 earthquake, seniors and health care.
The Legislature sits tonight from 4 to 11 pm.
The McNeil government has spent Nova Scotia tax dollars to keep these documents from seeing the light of day.
It's scary when the government uses its resources to try and silence and then crush the reputation of an individual.

"I think about those young women, mostly engineering students, who would, if given the chance, be in their 50s now. I think about the potential that was snuffed out and I think about the contributions they would have made..." -@karla_macf_pc

I stopped by the ParaMedic base in Burnside to say thanks on behalf of our community of #DartmouthEast. I also brought coffee and timbits!
Thank you to our 1100 ParaMedics in Nova Scotia.
